FP Insoles – Blog Post

A low arch throws off the ankle alignment which can be seen in the bottom photo. A neutral alignment would have the ankle bones aligned and the achilles would be straight. Here you can see the curve of the achilles and tilt of the ankle joint which is called “Over Pronation”. This is the major source of soreness and injury as it throws off your knees, hips and back. A pair of custom orthotics will correct the tilt and allow the joints to work properly. You’ll notice the soreness gone and the ability to skate longer. You are always welcome to DM us photos like this of your feet and we can recommend an insole for you.
