The Cam Caddie Scorpion is a versatile universal camera handle and stabilizer that allows you to maneuver compact cameras such as DSLRs, Mirrorless, and Smartphones the same way as you would a traditional video camcorder. The ergonomic handle is constructed from a lightweight composite and a custom formulated polymer grip, providing a stable and solid platform to comfortably hold and maneuver the camera. You can even mount a DSLR camera perpendicular to the top handle, which positions the back portion of the handle on the side of your camera for two-handed shooting. With our wide range of accessories, you can easily mount field recorders, microphones, LED lights, and external monitors.

The Scorpion displaces the weight of your gear by separating your hand from directly holding the camera body. When holding the Scorpion and not the camera, motion and movement is naturally dampened. The Scorpion can facilitate moves that look like a professional camera stabilizer or jib arm.

GET A GRIP IN CAGE MODE

Use Cage Mode and get a two-handed grip for locked on handheld shots. This unique configuration allows you to keep your right hand on the camera controls and use your left hand to help stabilize and articulate the camera movements.
