Bulldog Skateboards originated in the United States, specifically out of California during the late 1970s. Founded by Steve Cathey in San Diego, a key hotspot in early skate culture. At the time, Southern California, especially areas like San Diego and nearby coastal cities were at the center of skateboarding’s progression, with pool riding and vert skating rapidly evolving.
