Shot in and around Newcastle Harbour, the largest coal port in the world, Steel City Burners documents the subculture of graffiti writing on freight trains, with a focus on burners, end-to-end carriage murals, and wildstyle pieces.

While railway graffiti sits at the heart of the book, Brown also captures the surrounding industrial landscape, from port and railway infrastructure to the raw beauty of the Hunter River. The result is a gritty, atmospheric visual record of graffiti culture, freight movement, and the steel city backdrop that surrounds it.

Presented as a hardcover, saddle-stitched edition, Anonymously Famous: Steel City Burners features 119 pages of black and white photography, including double-page spreads and a four-page panoramic poster.
